Job Description

As COP, you will ensure strategic leadership and management direction for the project, providing for timely and successful implementation and reporting of activities.  You will serve as primary project liaison to the client and ensure effective collaboration with partners, donor, and stakeholder representatives.   As COP, you will supervise direct reports key tasks and project deliverables. 


 


QUALIFICATIONS:


 



  • MPH, DrPh, or MA degree or in science, public health, or equivalent field with minimum of 10 years in public health, community medicine or social sciences, preferably in Mozambique

  • Senior-level experience in service delivery and advocacy for reproductive and child health, disease prevention and control, and nutrition services programs in developing countries

  • Demonstrated success at providing technical assistance to a developing country Ministry of Health, preferably in Mozambique

  • Exceptional managerial and operational experience in managing activities of similar magnitude and complexity involving coordination and collaboration with multiple partners

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with USAID, the Ministry of Health, other relevant governmental organizations, private and civil society, and other development partners

  • Strong writing and presentation skills

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, including speaking, writing, and reading
